Anna Maria was taught how to sew by her mother Mary Lynn when she was so small she could barely wield the large dressmaking shears to cut a straight line. While the language used in the sewing patterns of the 1970's and 80's eluded her, she eventually learned to understand the architecture of pieces coming together by approaching the work more like an art form.

Anna Maria has been sharing her designs with the quilting, sewing and handcraft industry since 2005 and is the mind and the artist behind the patterns and products that we offer. Her name has become synonymous with bold, colorful and cheerful designs that offer the creative a less typical path to making something beautiful. Her quilt and clothing patterns are primarily designed to show off her effervescent fabric collections. Her background in fine art and fashion comes through in all of her compositions and silhouettes, giving the discerning maker plenty of opportunity to pair Anna Maria's vision with their own creative journey.
